Is Claire meant for war and vagabond living?
The loss of her parents when young. Worldly travels with Uncle L to dig sites. She marries an historian. Then becomes a nurse for WWII. This is all before going through stones back 200 years. Complete chaos ensues as she meets Frank’s relative, is abducted/saved by crew of Scots then sets off with young Scottish outlaw, and so on.
Meant for it? I don’t think anyone is. She manages and even thrives doing what she must during difficulty and challenges.
Claire is adventurer, healer, feminist, lover, nurturer, strong, vulnerable, plain spoken brain of a woman.
I cannot wait to see Cait be all of Claire
