This is one of my very favorite videos Starz has posted thus far. Dressing Outlander highlights the costuming of the show. It features Terry Dresbach the head costumer discussing the process along with cast members sharing about their wardrobe.
The behind the scenes aspects are absolutely fantastic.

Oh, I agree. A wonderful video. Angus and Rupert were so funny and I LOVE that Terry said no one wears a kilt like Sam. *sigh….* I SO agree with her.
Loved your wedding dress post, too. It’s stunning. Something occurred to me: If I recall correctly, Jamie gives Claire his mother’s pearls to wear on her wedding day, but it looked like a white lace ribbon around Claire’s throat. What’s your take on that?

This is her undergarment not the wedding dress. She took off the pearls is my guess before getting to the deflowering

Huh? Did I miss that when reading the article? I assumed it was the wedding dress. It’s so simple, but beautiful. I know Jamie said/asked something about her not wanting to sleep in her gown, but I thought everything came off at once. Wow! If this is her undergarment, I can only imagine how gorgous the gown in going to be.

I saw that Graham McTavish said it’s a dress that future brides are going to be clamoring for. Perhaps, but without the corset, I’m sure. 🙂
