Jamie hopes the newly arrived Duke of Sandringham will help lift the price from his head.

Episode 110 By The Pricking Of My Thumbs preview is full of intrigue and danger.

With Horrocks being a complete bust in aiding Jamie clearing his name, he is hoping the visiting Duke of Sandringham can be his ticket to freedom from the sentence upon his head. Claire is rightfully not trusting of the Duke as she knows details from Frank’s research (remember back to episode 101).  

How will she explain knowing this sensitive information to Jamie? 

What is the reciprocal favor the Duke seeks in return for scrubbing Jamie’s back? An interesting and grim turn of phrase considering the flogging scars upon Jamie’s back.   

Onto the duel scene that’s been shown in other preview clips for months now. It is definitely perplexing. I look forward to discovering what this new material dreamed up in the writer’s room adds to the story line and overall character development.
