The Devils Mark preview is a chilling peek into next weeks episode.  Claire Fraser and Geillis Duncan are tried for performing the unholy acts of witchcraft. Who was watching them in the woods? Was Claire being followed? What of Laoghaire who wrote the note  that sent Claire to Geillis’ house that fateful night? What price will she pay if any?

A terrifying prospect being tried for such crimes in this time in history. Those convicted of being a witch were burned at the stake or drowned. Acts of scourging or worse before death is also possible.
