Starz has released a Season 2 video, featuring clips intertwined with commentary by Ronald D. Moore, Executive Producer, and series stars, Caitriona Balfe, and Sam Heughan.

Season 2 is adapted from, Dragonfly in Amber, the second book of the hit Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie and Claire head to France for Jamie’s continued healing from the brutal rape and torture by Black Jack Randall and the long term goal of stopping the devastating Jacobite uprising to come.

From verdant and rainy Scotland to courtly France, a completely different world. They are thrust into a life that is lavish, opulent, colorful, politically intriguing, with dangers lurking in every corner.  They continue to struggle in this still new relationship and expectations of the other. Claire’s burgeoning pregnancy plays a key role as the season unfolds. There is never a dull moment where Claire and Jamie exist.
