In this week’s Voyager read-along that includes chapters 14-17, many changes are afoot, along with a grand misadventure. Ardsmuir Prison has been shut down. The Highlander men have been sent to the colonies for a period of indenture, all of them, except for Jamie Fraser. Only King George can sign a transport decree or a release for Jamie, neither of which he is willing to do. Major John Grey finds a suitable country location in which Jamie can live and fulfill his bond to the Crown.
An insight to Jamie’s 8.5 years at Helwater provides us with not only valuable detail, but show us a redemption of friendship and of purpose yet again for Jamie, as Alex MacKenzie Helwater groom.

I shocked a group of first-year university students, during a discussion about rituals. I said, “If I lived in a society that regularly sacrificed virgins then I would make sure to no longer qualify”. I saw Geneva to be a sacrifice. If I had been in her position I too would have chosen Jamie
However, she is absolutely wrong to use her position of power over both Jamie and his family That falls into the same set of circumstances as teachers beguiling or promising grades, with a student
I love how you shot your students.
