Voyager Podcast Series
This week’s Voyager read along installment, “A Lawyer Comes a Calling,” leads to the relational problems being hashed out and reasonably resolved. Mind you these are no easy tasks and it takes place through difficult conversations, listening with more than ears alone, and two visitors representing Laoghaire’s interests resulting in a settlement.
Ned Gowan represents Laoghaire in the divorce, but he cannot stop his joyous feelings for Claire to be known. Ultimately Laoghaire and Jamie reach an agreement requiring no other legal action.
After the affairs are in order and relationships back on course, there’s an attempt to retrieve some of the Seal Island treasure to pay off Laoghaire MacKenzie. It’s a failure as the treasure is being retrieved by someone else when Young Ian reaches the island. He is knocked out and captured, then taken out to sea on an unknown ship. Jamie and Claire aren;t even sure if the boy is alive when taken aboard the ship.
Can you imagine Jamie writing the lettert to his sister Jenny that he lost her son?
Jamie and Claire are going to France to seek cousin Jared’s help in solving the mystery of the ship and to embark on their journey to find Young Ian and rescue him.
This is where the adventure really begins.
What’s Coming up? Week 15 will cover chapters 40-41.
