Vengeance Is Mine S2 E11 Preview

There’s a price on Jamie’s head. They’re under siege in a church. A tricky plan is hatched to use Claire as an English hostage and Jamie as bait to save the others. Tension is definitely at a maximum in the “Vengeance Is Mine” S2 E11 preview trailer.

Claire and Jamie are to be separated in this time of unrest and high alert. They promise to find each other. Somehow I believe they will within adventurous and tumultuous events to come. The price for both of them being “that guy” (it’s a Die Hard reference), means conflict or danger is never far away from our dynamic duo and those surrounding them. Catching a break is not what they’re about. They create breaks for others.

The clue of the main event is in the title of the episode. I won’t spoil anything crucial for non-book readers, but if I am correct Murtagh and a high level official are involved.

The bonus is that herself, Diana Gabaldon wrote this episode for television. How freaking exciting is that? Where mediums cross. Was a new worm hole created or time travel location opened because if it?!

With only three episodes left this season, we are in for incredible moments, the highest of highs and lowest of lows. History speaks and ultimately Culloden is on the horizon.

This is a temporary separation.

The courage they equally possess. Partners in trust, love, and action.

Prestonpans…The Fight Begins…S2 E10 Preview

The planning. The plotting. The preparation. The uprising is moving forward. Prestonpans a battle that will be of historic significance, is here. Prince Charles will not stop. He has his eyes on England herself. Folly it may be. He has a claim to the throne.

Jamie Fraser has the world riding upon his shoulders. He has the Prince’s trust, and many look to him as a great leader. savvy and strong He is the King of Men after all, and no less is expected. With Claire and his men by his side, he can and will do whatever it takes to get the job done well. I imagine he has his own side plan in play that must succeed no matter the ultimate outcomes.

Will he remain in the Prince’s good graces? Will Claire’s foreknowledge continue to be true? What would a win here mean?

As ready as they can be, into the mist they go to fight the English.

War Is Come S2 Preview

From the luxurious and at times cutthroat happenings in France, The Fraser’s have gone home. They did all they could to stop the Jacobite uprising from taking place, but alas, it is now upon there own doorstep. Prince Charles has arrived and war is come to Scotland. The remaining episodes of the season will be steeped in difficult living, fighting, and more grave losses. Claire has shared all she knows with Jamie and Murtagh, now all they can do is try to change history for the win.

Returning to face the fight are favorites among the many, renowned Jacobite Dougal MacKenzie, Angus Mhor, and Rupert MacKenzie. I wonder what other faces will emerge. Will Mary Hawkins virtue be avenged? Will Black Jack Randall return with one life less? Can Lallybroch be saved now that Jamie is a known traitor? Have we heard the last of Alex Randall? The Duke of Sandringham? I imagine he is playing all sides as before.

Those are some of the many questions to be answered in the 5 remaining episodes.

Culloden is near and all we can do is wait, watch, and wonder.

Faith S2 E7 Trailer

Faith S2 E7 comes after the shockingly dramatic duel between Jamie and Black Jack Randall, and Claire experiencing a serious pregnancy complication. The trailer opens with Claire in the hospital with Mother Hildegarde by her side. She’s clearly ill, distraught, and without Jamie by her side. He’s been arrested and locked up in the Bastille for the illegally duel. Only the King can release him…at his pleasure.

There’s little rest for our hero and heroine as another dark period is upon them. Claire is living with much misunderstanding and assumption over what she sees as a betrayal and broken promise. She doesn’t know that something happened to Fergus at the hand of Randall. She believes Jamie’s motive was vengeance, not justice being served.

Did Randall die? If he lives, did Jamie keep to the letter of the promise?

How will Jamie and Claire be strong enough to see it through together? With half the season behind us, the remaining will tell the status of our favorite couple.

Season 2 Outlander Teaser Trailer

Finally, a Season 2 trailer was released today by Outlander Starz. It has been a long droughtlander period for fans. This video comes at the right time, to help us handle the next few months. Thankfully, we’re on the downward slope toward the season 2 premiere.

With S2 being based on Dragonly in Amber, the second book in the Diana Gabaldon series, expect there will be extreme highs, lows, threats, and immense beauty. The beloved Jamie and Claire Fraser will try and change the future with her foreknowledge. There will be new characters to meet, old favorites to revisit, and as with all adaptations, added tales and twists. Diana Gabaldon even wrote an upcoming episode and recently joined the team in Scotland during filming.

I am counting down and cannot wait to see THE RED DRESS, Master Raymond, Prince Charlie, and many other notable scenes and characters. I especially look ahead to Claire and Jamie growing together, Jamie healing, and the deepening of their love.
